Lead product designer · Enterprise SaaS & AI

Complex systems,made calm.

I design the products, systems and AI agents that help people do complex work with less effort. 10+ years, most recently on maintenance and engineering tools at Alaska Airlines.

Every team has AI tools.

Few have AI workflows.

Selected work, start to finish.

AI work · Data

The data falls into place. You just ask.

Behind every product is a wall of data. I design the layer on top, where you ask a plain question and get an answer you can check. Try it below.

AI work · Agents

Tara sees the delay coming. Before you do.

Tara is a project agent I'm designing for a project-management SaaS. Every morning it reviews active projects, spots what will slip, explains why and drafts the fix. You approve, it acts. Press "Run analysis" to try it.

AI work · Workflow

Every agent plays its part. I write the score.

I run a team of specialised AI agents for research, design, build, QA and UX review. I set the goal, they work through it, and it comes back to me when a decision matters. At Alaska Airlines, working this way turned UI work planned for three sprints into a build in under a day.

AI work · Play

You play. The agent optimises.

Each block is a task: a report, a quote, a reminder. Stack them without leaving gaps. Then let the agent play: it weighs every possible placement in a fraction of a millisecond. Designing how that kind of speed meets human judgment is my work.

What I do

One flow. Three crafts.

Product design & UX

Portals, platforms and apps people actually use, from the first interview to a tested prototype.

ResearchInterfacesPrototyping

Systems & design systems

Information architecture, workflows and component libraries that keep complex products consistent.

IAWorkflowsDesign systems

AI agents

Agent behavior, trust and hand-offs: when it speaks up, what evidence it shows, how people stay in control.

How I work

Four steps. No time wasted.

Step 1

Research

Shadow the people doing the work and find where time and trust are lost.

Step 2

Behavior

Define what the product and its AI should do, refuse and escalate.

Step 3

Interface

Prototype with real data and real models. Make every suggestion easy to accept or undo.

Step 4

Measure

Test with users, track where it fails and ship the next version.

About · Design philosophy

Bold in the thinking. Simple in the using.

I trained as an architect in the United States, where a building has to be beautiful and it also has to stand. I design software the same way: bold in the ideas, quiet and simple in the experience. The complexity is my job, not the user’s.

Over ten years I've brought that to airlines, fintech, travel and civic tech.

I'm at my best inside complex, high-stakes systems: many tools, many roles, and work that can't afford mistakes. I make them calm. I work across American and West African contexts, in English and French.

Awalé · tap a pit to sow

The West African strategy game I grew up with. You win by sowing in the right place at the right time. It was optimisation all along.

Contact

Let’s build something calm.

I'm available now for full-time remote roles and 2–3 month contracts: an AI feature from start to ship, a UX review of an AI product, or a design system. A full walkthrough of my NDA work is available on request.
